Rigby & Peller is celebrating its 70^th anniversary with a revival of retro and vintage styles. Antique lingerie pieces are being used to model new products that include ruffle details and long line padded bra shapes – not to mention the must have ballet-pink padded retro bra with top stitch detail and high waisted brief with ruffle back, available in the highest quality, luxurious satin.

Light & Sheer

This autumn and winter sees the use of a lot of light materials. As the rock and roll style becomes ever more popular, the tattoo tulle is becoming prevalent also. This consists of a skin-coloured tulle that features black or dark purple embroidery, creating the impression of the wearer sporting a tattoo. The style is present in many ranges, including Elixir Melusine, Rigby & Peller Whisper, Lejaby La Garconne and Empreinte Melody.

Beautiful Details

Finishing touches are being given special attention by our manufacturers this season, producing lingerie that is luxurious down to the last detail. These finishing touches are especially evident in this season’s strap styles. Marie Jo Anais’ lingerie features lace straps that can be worn as a halterneck or to their full extent with a backless dress. Design ideas such as silver jewelled stars appear on the seductively black satin strapped Huit O Sublime underwear. Trims featuring jewellery are also included on the Aubade range, La Passion Anna, which consists of an Art Noveau inspired silver trim detail.

This season consists of a number of ‘sexy’ lingerie styles for you and your partner, Halloween and Christmas parties, and, of course, gifts. Basques are subtle items that can be concealed beneath evening wear, and the Prima Donna Kensington and Elixir Nina range both come with a plunge basque with detachable suspenders.
