THE 6 MOST POPULAR NECKLINES

----------

Which bra is most suitable for my dress neckline?

Straight

Off The Shoulder

4. Off The Shoulder

A classic balcony shape strapless should work well for these two styles. However, if your off-shoulder dress is cut quite low at the front, you may need to go for a strapless plunge style.

Spaghetti Straps

3. Spaghetti Straps

although your dress has straps they are likely to be very fine and you will want to avoid the dreaded double-strap! Therefore we would recommend a classic strapless style.

Illusion

1. Illusion

Although your shoulders will technically be covered, the top panel tends to be very sheer and therefore any straps will be very visible. Don’t be tempted to wear clear straps as they provide little in the way of support and can become discoloured – just opt for a very well-fitting strapless style.

Jewel

5. Jewel

necklines provide good coverage of the chest and shoulder area, meaning that you have the freedom to choose from many different styles. Those with larger busts may prefer a full-cup style that give them amazing support and lift, whilst others may opt for less coverage and go for balcony or plunge styles. Just remember that if the fabric of your dress is quite fine, go for a smoother style with less seams.

V-neck

6. V-Neck

necklines require serious plunging styles. The shoulder straps of these dresses tend to be quite thin so choose a plunge that has thinner straps. We carry supportive plunge styles from cups A-G.

THE PERFECT BRIEFS FOR YOUR DRESS

----------

OUR ADVICE

As these styles are not too fitted you can get away with a number of different brief or shapewear options.

Our recommendation would be to try a fuller brief, or for additional support, a high waisted control brief. Both will keep you secure throughout the day whilst cleanly nipping you in at the waist.

Avoid long leg control briefs as these may feel restrictive under these styles of dress and as your legs will not be visible, they will be largely unnecessary.

If self-conscious about your stomach, a waist clincher by Spanx or a basque will help on the big day.

OUR ADVICE

For more fitted styles such as the Column dresses, seam free options will work best.

For the most comfortable option, try either a seam free briefs or full briefs which will keep you supported without obvious lines.

If your dress is made from floatier, finer fabric, we suggest a well fitting g-string with wide sides to guarantee no panty line is seen throughout the day.

For fuller coverage and a more tailored silhouette we also offer bodyshapers with legs or bodies which will instantly smooth out and slim any problem areas.
