Competition rules: Marie Jo Avero 30 years

Article 1: General
1. The “Marie Jo Avero 30 years” competition, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Competition’, is a competition with a purchase obligation organized by Van de Velde NV, with registered address at Lageweg 4, 9260 Schellebelle, Belgium, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Promoter’, and is subject to the conditions set out in these regulations and Belgian law.
2. The Competition starts on the 13th of March 2026 and ends on 15th of March 2026 (during opening hours).
3. The Competition takes place in the United Kingdom.
4. Participation in the Competition is open to any person who is eighteen years or older and who has a valid delivery address in the participating countries except for the Promoter, its employees and subsidiaries, suppliers of the Promoter or members of the staff of such suppliers, and any other person who was involved in the organization of the Competition.
5. Also excluded from the right to participate in this Competition are first-degree relations by blood or by marriage of the persons referred to in the previous paragraph, as well as persons living under the same roof as the latter.
6. Participation is personal. Entrants may only enter the Competition once throughout the entire duration per valid e-mail address. Each entrant may only win once.

Article 2: Personal information
1. To participate in the Competition, you will be asked to provide certain personal details, such as your name, phone number, e-mail address, etc.
2. Each entrant guarantees that all data provided by them is correct, up to date, and complete.
3. The personal data provided to us by you will be used in accordance with our privacy policy and – except with your express consent – will only be used in the context of the Competition.
4. If this information does not correspond to reality, neither the Promoter nor any other intervening person or company can be held liable for this.
5. Damage resulting from the use of the participant's personal data by unauthorized persons can under no circumstances be recovered from the Promoter if the latter has taken all the necessary security measures that can reasonably be expected of them.

Article 3: How and when you can participate?
1. The Competition starts on the 13th of March 2026 and ends on the 15th of March 2026 (during opening hours).
2. The Competition can be accessed in the physical Rigby & Peller stores. Addresses can be consulted on this page: Find your boutique | Rigby & Peller United Kingdom.
3. To enter, an in-store purchase of £ 100 is required.
4. The entrant needs to complete a competition question and a tie-breaker question.
5. The entrant must also enter their personal details correctly and in full for the entry to be valid.

Article 4: Announcing the winners.
1. There is 1 winner per store referred to in article 3.2 of these rules.
2. Each winner of the prize, as described in Article 5, is the person who, in addition to correctly answering the contest question, has correctly answered the tie‑breaker question or has come closest to the correct answer. The closest number above the correct answer will take precedence over an equally close number below the correct answer. In the event of a tie, the entrant who answered first wins.
3. The winner will be notified personally (by e-mail or phone) within 30 days from the end of the Competition.
4. The winner must claim the prize by June 30,2026.
5. The name of the winner can be communicated through social media.
6. If the prize is not received by a winner through no fault of the Promoter, the winner will lose their rights to the prize and the prize will remain the property of the Promoter.

Article 5: Prizes
1. The prize for each winner is a shopping credit of £150, to be spend in the Rigby & Peller store where the winner participated.
2. The prize must be used the 30th of June 2026 and in 1 time. The prize can not be split over different purchase moments.
3. All prizes are personal and therefore non-transferable and are not exchangeable for cash. 4. In the event of a refusal or other reason for not awarding a prize, the prize will be forfeited to the Promoter.

Article 6: Liability and indemnity
1. The Promoter and any other intervening person or company will not be held liable if, in case of force majeure, certain terms of this Competition should be changed.
2. The mere participation in this Competition by the entrant implies that they accept the present terms and conditions of participation without reservation.
3. Under no circumstances will the Competition be sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn. Participants cannot hold Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn liable in any way for any dammages resulting from their participation.
4. These competition rules are subject to Belgian law and any dispute regarding their application falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent, Belgium.

Article 7: Rights of the Promoter 1. If an entrant violates these terms and conditions or any applicable legal provision in any way, the Promoter reserves the right to terminate the entrant's participation in the Competition at any time, without prior notice, without giving any reason, at its discretion, and without the Promoter being liable.
2. The Promoter also reserves the right, at its discretion and without prior notice, to terminate, interrupt, or modify the Competition and/or to modify the Competition rules and/or the Competition prizes, if circumstances require, without the Promoter being held responsible.
3. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any technical problem that may occur with the websites mentioned or with the computer programming.
4. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for problems related to transport or other cases of force majeure that may occur in connection to the prizes to be awarded.

Article 8: Contact
1. No dispute is accepted concerning the determination of the winners, the course of the Competition, or any other procedure within the framework of this Competition.
2. Any complaint relating to this Competition must be sent in writing within seven days following the end of the competition period to the registered office of the Promoter. Late or non-written complaints will not be taken into consideration.
3. Entrants who wish to receive a copy of the present terms and conditions for participation must send an envelope addressed to themselves with sufficient prepaid postage at the time of their request to Marketing Department, Van de Velde NV, Lageweg 4, 9260 Schellebelle, Belgium.
